It’s a McGree Miracle!!!

Peace in the McGree home!!!!

This post has nothing to do with sewing. I just knew you would be thrilled to hear good news about the Blog Dogs and Mitzie. Last night, they all sat together in the same room and didn’t kill each other. It’s a miracle!!! I think I told you that Mitzie pretty much hates the big dog (Mocha). Mocha, on her part adores Mitzie but is overly-enthusiastic in her affections. When we brought Mocha home, Mitzie went on strike for about 4 months. She wouldn’t come in the house; only ate in the garage; ran away with her tail in the air anytime I tried to coax her in. It was a sad time. Around Christmas she moved back in, but with the clear understanding that Mocha could not be anywhere near her. I have been playing referee with these two all winter. Ahhhhg. And now look what happened!! The ice has thawed!!! I realize this picture shows you the embarrassing secret that my animals pretty much run the house. After all, that is my bed they are on. But it is such a happy moment. I had to share.
